R Kelly guilty?

R&B singer R Kelly is due to face child pornography charges in court, nearly six years after first being arrested.
The performer has denied video-taping himself engaging in sex acts with a girl, who prosecutors in Chicago say could have been as young as 13.
The 41-year old faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted.
There’s no chance of this one going through without the stench of racism wafting through the courtroom.
The instant his character is questioned. OBJECTION. RACISM.
The instant his professional integrity is called in to question. OBJECTION. RACISM.
It’s pathetic.
He’ll get 4 years suspended sentence with an order to work in the community for 2 of them.
If he’s guilty (which of course he may not be) then why bother banging him up at all. I mean, when he comes out he’ll have written a book that sells in spades and makes him even richer.
If he’s guilty keep him in the public eye and humiliate him through the usual channels. i.e. press and media.
The flip side is of course that this humiliation will exist if he’s not guilty.
